Barn # 158 Lancaster Barn
Carlsborg

East side of Old Olympic at Timothy

The barn was built in the 1930s. Ken Eldridge milked Jerseys and Holsteins here from 1950 until Myron Lancaster bought it in the '60s. Lancaster ran it as Olympic View Farm, while also working as herdsman of the registered Guernsey herd at Graysmarsh. He began growing his own herd, and consistantly won top honors for high production.

The family has since moved their cattle business to Blaine, WA. The house directly to the north is the original 1917 farmhouse, before the property was divided into multiple parcels.
