East side of Sequim-Dungeness, north of Eberle Lane.

Partial barn and milk house, on land leased by Nash Huber. It is just north of the Jardin du Soleil. Both this building and the lavender farm were part of a dairy farm established in the 1880's. It is called the Bell Farm, after early owners Clarence and Helen Bell.

Milk-handing regulations became more stringent in the 1940's, and in most cases the milk houses were built then. As the barns were long established, there was no room to add milk handling facilities there and also the barn would not meet the new regulations, so the milk houses were separate. On some acreages the milk house still stands, although the barn is long gone.
