The primary photograph is from Sidney Cays, taken in 1993 when the barn was still barely standing. The property belonged to Rex E. McInnes from approximately 1948 until his death. He purchased the farm and approximately 20 acres from Albert Hernandez who had owned it for many years since the mid 1920's. At that time it abutted the larger McInnes farm. In the spring of 1960 Rex sold his dairy cows to Hans Schmuck and replaced them with a dozen Angus beef cattle.
In the past, Woodcock Road east of Sequim Dungeness Way was known as Holland Road (because Graysmarsh Farm ownership and manager has the family surname "Holland" associated with it and is located just east of this barn).
The barn has been torn down (in 1995) and only the small milkhouse and a small old farmhouse remain. It is now an organic farm leased to Nash Huber of Dungeness.
