This barn was built around 1910. Names associated with its early life include Charlie Lewis and Johnie Ward. The Jakeways bought it some time around 1950. There are some cows on the property, and they often sell fresh eggs and fruit. I had a chance to visit the farm in December of 2009, and got a bunch of new pictures (yes that is snow falling in front of my camera).
