Refurbished barn at the end of Idea Place, east of Carlsborg Road
From a Real Estate ad: "PRIME LIGHT INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY with exceptional structures. Converted historic Carlsborg barn contains 10500 SF of light manufacturing area & 2100 SF of high end office space. Use conversion completed to 1994 county requirements." Former home of Idea Development Company. Davis Instruments Corp. successfully acquired Olympic Manufacturing (formerly I D C) on January 26, 2004.
The barn was built in the 1930s for the Lewis Dairy farm. Bill Knapman then used it for hay and equipment until 1994 when Wayne Uht moved in with IDC.
