Twenty acres of the Henry Haller farm is now occupied by Angel Lavender, including this 90-year-old barn. The property was once a dairy farm owned by Henry and Catherine Haller, and remained in the family until 1998. I've heard that Henry was the last farmer still using horses to work his land, rather than those new-fangled tractors and such. One of his mowing machines was recently on display at the Museum and Arts Center.
