This building is still standing on Marine Drive at Cays Road, although you have to look twice to see it was once a barn. It was built in 1924 by Arthur and Minnie Rogers. The 13 acres of waterfront property started as dairy farm, and after changing hands many times became a milking barn for Manes Farm. Dr. W J Siemens moved there in 1955, and raised peas, oats and wheat. It was then bought by S. C. Brogren in 1962 who converted it into a home. The Nelsons took over a few years later. In 2003 the Wardens purchased it from the Nelsons and undertook the many renovations and additions it needed as it was in total disrepair. It officially became the "Dungeness Barnhouse B&B" in 2010 and was featured in the Sequim Gazette.
