West side of Gunn Road, north of Finn Hall
Started as a 40-acre parcel of Harry Peterson's farm, nephew Kenneth Peterson grew the land to nearly 450 acres. As agriculture declined in the area parts were developed into Alderwood Estates and then the community of Monterra.
