Spencer at Boyce, north of Highway 101
This story has a happy ending. In the spring of 2005 I could barely see this barn through the surrounding foliage. The property was for sale, so I didn't expect this tattered old dear to be around much longer.
Then in June of 2007 I was back in the neighborhood and found the brush had been cleared so the barn was visible. I was thrilled to see that there was a new roof!
