North side of Brackett east of Priest (near the WalMart)

The barn is owned by the youngest child of Caroline (Lowry) and Alfred W. Robb, who emigrated from Ireland to Sequim in 1909. The Robbs originally owned the 100 acre farm at the end of Brackett Road, west of Priest Road which has now become WalMart, and many other commercial buildings. When they retired the moved across the street to this property. They lived here the remainder of their lives (Alfred passed away in 1960 and Caroline in 1980). The barn has been used to shelter a few beef, and store hay, and in more recent years to store miscellaneous machines, a boat, etc.

I can see a lot of decay on this old barn, and the new commercial construction all around it does not give me much hope for its survival.
