Barn # 5 Haughawout Barn

North side of Old Olympic Highway, east of 5th
A well kept older barn. The current green roof blends well with the moss that grows in our rainy season. According to Harriet Fish it was built for farming by the Houghwaght [sic] family in 1914. I have found an obituary listing for George L Haughawout (1875-1922), and a map from 1942 shows the property belonging to his widow Orra E Haughawout.
