South side of Port Williams Road, just east of the lavender farm

Near the Port Williams Lavender Farm. In 1947 the farm was rented by Ferd and Betty Schnuriger, where they had a dairy herd of 25 cows. They were chosen as the Peninsula Dairy Family of the Year in 1960. and in 1974 and 1975 Ferd's Holstein cows were the top milk-producing herd in the entire county.
