Our History: A Foundation in the Land


The Sequim-Dungeness Valley is located in Clallam County, Washington, on the Olympic Peninsula. The area of the Dungeness River Watershed runs the length of the river, from the Olympic mountains in the South to the Straight of Juan de Fuca in the North. The width of the watershed varies, but is roughly from the city of Sequim on the East to the end of the Old Olympic Highway at the West.

My original intent was to consolidate historical information on the Valley from various sources, and present in results here. I may yet do this, but for now I will simply refer you to these other sites:
